Vehicle model and year
The average price of a rental car also varies according to its size, model and year of manufacture. The rental of a small, standard car for 5 passengers is not the same as the rental of a travel unit, automatic and up to 21 people. The more current the vehicle is, the price will also change, since it is inferred that it is more careful and with less mileage than older units. At Renta Fast we have models from the year 2018.
Rent deposit
Although the rent deposit is not included in the price of the units, you need to know about its costs. In general, this deposit is a guarantee that the company obtains during the rental of the vehicle, in order to cover extra expenses or recover the money in the event that the unit is not returned or is made late.
In Renta Fast, depending on the type of unit, the guarantee is executed. For small units the amount varies between $10,000 and $15,000, and for large units it can be between $20,000 and $40,000. It is very important that you know that the company does not keep this money physically, we only block a Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit card. If there is no problem during the rental, the amount will be released in a few hours or days, depending on the issuing bank.
Promotions
Car rental companies also carry out promotions for their customers. Apart from the price reduction for weekly and monthly contracts, it is also possible that you will find certain special promotions of the moment, so ask before making your final payments. Also, if you have already rented with us before or you have certain projects in which both companies can benefit, your sales agent may offer you a certain discount in exchange for promoting their services.

Other items to consider
Vehicle delivery
Some companies will charge you extra charges for the collection and delivery of the vehicle in another location that is not the same company. For example, the unit can be delivered to the renter's home, the airport, or another location agreed upon during the contract. At Renta Fast, we do not charge for this service, so the price agreed for the unit will be respected.
Extra time
In case you need to extend the use of the unit, you need to remember the contract signed by the car rental company. Each one acts differently in these situations. Some can charge you directly for the extra time, others only for the time traveled until the final delivery of the unit. In recognized companies and even in Renta Fast, if you exceed the time of the rental contract by more than two hours, we will automatically count it as another day of rental.
Contract extension
In the event that, in the middle of the rental, an individual or company wishes to extend the contract, they must contact the sales agent or customer service directly. There they will inform you if the unit has no other commitments and you can continue your journey. At Renta Fast we provide a customer service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, if you are a company that has worked with us before, we will probably respect your contract and can extend it for a longer period without any problem.

Extra elements
Some car rental companies put extra items in your vehicle if you need them. Of course, this is not included in the average unit rental prices, but is added to your final price. Some of the additional elements are baby seats, GPS, mobile phone in case of foreigners, extra protection equipment and other optional items. At Renta Fast we do not include these accessories, because we consider that the rate already includes everything you need to be able to drive your unit for long or short distances.
There is also the possibility that you do not want to rent the car and, on the contrary, want a transfer with a driver included. This type of rental is a little more expensive, since it includes the driver's meals and lodging in case the trip exceeds 8 hours and for the safety of all passengers.
